You’ve got questions, I've got answers.

Check out these frequently asked questions, and feel free to
reach out anytime if you don't see the answer you need!

How do I schedule a consultation or training session?

Simply contact me through the website, email me, text me, or give me a call! I'll be happy to discuss your goals, assess your dog's needs, and determine the best training plan for you.

How often should I attend training sessions with my dog?

Group classes are generally held once a week for a total of six weeks; this usually makes it possible to squeeze into your already busy schedule, but ensures progress as long as you do a little practice at home! We can schedule private sessions in whatever way works best for you, or you can always hire to me train your dog while you're off working or vacationing! Just remember that whatever path you choose, consistency and practice will improve learning for both you and your pup.

Can you help with specific behavioral issues my dog is exhibiting?

Absolutely! I'm qualified to address a variety of behavioral issues, from basic obedience to more complex challenges, and happy to refer to more experienced trainers or veterinary behaviorists for best results when necessary. During your consultation, we'll assess your dog's needs and create a personalized plan.

How long does it take to see results in my dog's behavior?

Sadly, the answer to this questions will always be "it depends"! Lasting change can take time, patience, and consistency, especially when dealing with complex or long-standing behaviors. I'm here to guide you and walk with you every step of the way.

What training methods do you use?

I am 100% committed to using only the most humane training methods and pride myself on staying up to date on the latest science of learning, behavior., and industry best practices. I do not believe in the use of e-collars, prong collars, or any other method of control and punishment, as they have long-since been proven to be harmful and unnecessary. You can achieve better results by having fun with your dog, encouraging their engagement in the learning process, rewarding behaviors you like, and motivating them to want to work with you!
